Today's entry wanna share skit info berkaitan ingredients yang tidak diperlukan dalam your baby food which is salt (garam).
Garam adalah sama sekali tidak diperlukan dalam makanan your baby.
For info, buah pinggang (kidney) your baby tak boleh cope dengan garam especially garam yang melebihi 1 g (0.4g sodium).
Small babies biasanya akan dapatkan garam secara natural from breastmilk or formula milk or when your baby dah start makan solid, your baby akan dapatkan garam daripada makanan mereka secara natural TANPA menambah garam dalam masakan.
Like me, I'm very concern berkaitan garam2 ni.My practice mmg saya tak letak any garam dalam my baby food or saya jugak tak bagi my baby makan makanan yang saya makan, for example nasik lemak or etc because our food contains additional salt which is not needed by our baby.
But some of my friends yang dah tak masak special makanan for their baby.Just bagi their baby makan apa yang diorang makan.Ada yang start from 9 months or early lg dah bg their baby makan makanan yang sama dgn org dewasa.Some of them jugak bagi their baby makan KFC whipped potato complete with gravy.Its not correct actually, but terpulang pada masing-masing.
From my personal opinion, i'm not recommend bg your baby makan KFC whipped potato or makanan yg sama dgn kita.Sebab KFC whipped potato ada contains penambah perisa esp gravy part.That is why sedap.Walaupun without gravy, I'm still not suggest bg baby makan KFC whipped potato.If you really nak bg your baby mkn whipped potato.Its much more better to do it yourself.Use fresh ingredients, khasiat and kebersihan mmg confirm terjamin.
My practice, until now I'm still cooking separately for my baby without adding any salt.My baby nearly one year now.Other than I gave my baby bubur or nasik, I always bg my baby fresh fruits or yogurt.Lg berkhasiat..:)
For info, if dalam process food, garam dikenali sebagai sodium and 2.5g garam adalah bersamaan 1g sodium.Kandungan garam is consider tinggi jika lebih daripada 1.5g garam per 100g or (0.6g sodium).Low salt level is 0.3g garam atau kurang per 100g or (0.1 g sodium).

Kalau takde garam, so tak sedap la makanan baby??
Parents..jgn samakan cita rasa kita dgn baby.Our baby belum pernah rasa garam, so no issue makanan sedap ke tak.
So parents, please read food label first before buy any process food, but my suggestion, better kita sendiri yang prepare food for our baby from fresh ingredients.Cook for your baby is very simple!.Don't make thing complicated.
For info, untuk baby setahun hingga 3 tahun, kandungan garam daily yang dibenarkan adalah only 2g a day (0.8g sodium).
Feed the right thing to your baby for their future!..:)
